Newtown Public Schools - Playmaker 101: Foundation of Playmaking

The Playmaker 101: Foundations of Playmaking course is a 3-hour workshop that guides all participants through a thoughtful blend of discussion and experiential learning. We explore what optimism actually is and how we can co-create a greater capacity for it in our schools and throughout our community. We’ll introduce our core philosophy and approach to building optimal environments for learning and development, and explore new ways for educators (and the children that they teach) to see the good in themselves, each other, and the world around them.
